Not sure what happened with on line scheduling, but never received a follow up call telling me what time to bring my car in so I ended up calling the service desk. They gave me a time to bring it in. Dropped it off early and they got to it early. Stephanie in service department was great. Like how you can pay at the same work station instead of having to go to another window. Asked if there was anything I needed to do as the car had hit 100K. She said she would have mechanic look which I appreciated as no sense doing work if not needed.

Having only one car the repair took longer than quoted. We were told noon . Had to call back after 1 pm to find out if it was completed. The work was completed ok. The tire pressure light no longer comes on all the time.

Absolutely wonderful experience here. I hate a high pressure sales environment and this experience was the complete opposite. I never once was pushed for anything I didn’t want from start to finish. Andy Rollins was my salesman and he was excellent. Very laid back and helpful. Felt like I was sitting with an old friend while waiting for different parts of the process. Finance was awesome as well friendly, knowledgeable, and worked hard to get me the best possible rate. This will be my new go to car dealership.

While away on a long trip my niece stayed at my home with access to my car. When I left the oil was at 10% life left. Well, she ended up taking a road trip with a cousin (another niece) returning my car at 0% oil life left. With a trip planned for the end of the week, I knew the oil must be changed. I could have gone to a third-party location, but I chose to use the GM-trained professionals at Jack Schmitt Chevrolet. I was the third car in the queue at 0730. It was no problem to leave my car for the day, since I knew a ride would be provided to me. The driver returned at 1300 to pick my up at home. The service technician gave me advice on what service would be needed to be scheduled later this summer. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming in the service department.

On Friday while driving home around 3pm in my Brand-new truck which i didn't buy there, had a check engine light that appeared, and it started running terrible. I pulled off the interstate drove to the Ofallon chevy store pulled into the bay. I was able to get it looked at and even got a ride home. Then later was able to get a loaner for the weekend all of this after 3 pm. Anyway great job im definitely buying my next car from jack schmitt. Hopefully this is how it always is. thanks

We had a vehicle breakdown on vacation pulled in and bought a 2020 truck, left our vehicle to have the plate pulled off the rear end and put grease in it. They did NOTHING. Charged us $255for doing nothing. We picked it up and put our own grease in it and drove it home, stopping 3 times to re grease it. I feel like they owe us a service refund. Buying the truck was good experience, thank you, Nick.

They did an oil change and tire rotation and they didn’t reset the sensors. I had a flat today due to that My dashboard was telling me that the rear back driver side needed air so i stopped at the gas station and put air in the tire that was showing on the dashboard so as I was on the highway, I noticed that the numbers were going down very fast. I pulled over as I got out to check to see which tire it was. It was the front driver side that needed the air. I think that when they do tire rotations, they need to make sure they check to see if all the sensors program the correct way.

I dislike that you close so early. I dislike having to pay $220 an hour to diagnose an electrical problem that you may not even be able to find. I purchased the best extended warranty available from the dealership when I bought the car. I have been extremely loyal to Chevrolet all my life. I didn't get an invoice texted or emailed to me. The paperwork did not include the safety checklist that was supposedly done. Your AI scan machine picks up dirt as scratches. I dislike the price I was given to change pads on my brakes. It's not a hard or expensive job. I will be doing it myself for a fifth of what you would have charged me. I did a little window shopping while I was there. Prices were not on the cars I was looking at. I then had to talk to a sales rep who seemed upset I was asking prices. Because I told him I wasn't going to buy anything, and I was just curious. He ended up walking away from me after the second price he gave me. You represent Chevrolet and you should do better.

My car had been there for almost a month and my radio is still not working properly. I was told "we don't know what to do", but I've had this problem since I first purchased the car, so years. The warranty company was a pain also, from what Stephanie told me, they were the reason my car was in there so long, but when I spoke to someone else, the paperwork hadn't even been sent in when she told me it was the day before. I had to call to get an update almost every time until the last few days. I need my radio fixed and if it takes removing the whole dash, so be it. My warranty is almost done and I need my radio fixed!

Shatika, Sorry to hear you are still having issues with your vehicle's radio. Unfortunately, when your vehicle was here, we were not able to duplicate the problem of it not working. The Warranty company will not authorize us to fix it if we can not duplicate the issue. We will be happy to look at it again if the problem continues, but unfortunately, we aren't able to get the warranty company to authorize the repairs without it acting up for us. . I came in for an oil change and tire rotation that was advertised online for $94, but the cashier, Jennifer A. Becker, was very rude and refused to honor the online price. From the moment I walked into the dealership, she had an attitude. I tried multiple times to look past it, but she was combative about the price I was quoted online. She acted as if she didn’t see the advertised price and kept insisting on their original price, which made no sense and left me feeling misled. On top of that, she also gave me information about Illinois emissions that I believe was inaccurate. To make matters worse, after the service, my sensor came right back on — so the job wasn’t even done properly. The only positive was John in management he was very nice and genuinely tried his best to make me happy, and I truly appreciate that. Unfortunately, the overall experience with the cashier and the poor service means I will not be returning and cannot recommend this dealership.

Came in for just an oil change and tire rotation. Technician found one of the tires with a chip causing it to leak, which I was aware one tire had kept losing 5-6 psi every night. But would just pump it up occasionally. Ended up getting a great deal on new sets of tires and it was done in a timely manner. Was very happy with the repairs and maintenance. Dropped my truck off on Friday, was told they only give loaners for warranty work, this was a warranty job and then was told there were none available. Was told the parts would be there Monday, called at 2pm on Monday and the parts were not there yet, asked if any loaners were available and was told she would check with the guy, came back and said they had one available, when I went to pick up the loaner and the guy said I was the first to drive this one, so that made me think the loaner was there on Friday and I was just told no, there wasn’t any. I had to borrow a car from someone to get around for 3 days

Came in the get truck fixed. You had to order part. Said it should be in next day. Never heard back for 1 week. Called dealership and part was there. Took truck in the get part installed. Left and they didn’t fix everything we took the truck in for. Made another appointment for them to fix remainder of problem. So far 3 trips. Need to get there stuff together

Wonderful experience as always. Staff courteous and knowledgeable. Have always had my maintenance done at the dealership, but the only drawback is that it’s just a bit expensive. My only complaint would be Labor cost for a simple oil change seems to be a little excessive. 🤷♀️ Overall, very pleased. 😇

John, the service manager, was very insulting and rude. When I spoke with the GM, Kathy, she listened but was dismissive with my concerns. When I picked up my car it was in the parking lot unlocked and the seat was all the way forward and the steering wheel was all the way down. The whole experience was horrible and I will never consider purchasing another vehicle from there as I don't feel their customer service skills live up to the GM expectations

This team got the vehicle with significant issues (Ck Eng light) in unannounced and weaved it into their schedule expeditiously. They found the problems and completed the services required. I like the dealership, just a few communication problems occur : finance person charged cc fees on “hold of car” without notifying me of cc fees then refunded the charge amount BUT not the 3% cc fees Which I was told would be refunded. Brought my vehicle in for an oil change, into diagnose/repair my driver side front seat, which appeared to be loose. Check engine light came on. We had a trip out of town planned (leaving early afternoon). Was able to make an appointment to get car seen. Technician diagnosed it as a bad purge valve. Also had the TPMS fixed, tune up, and oil change done. Had the car done in 3.5 hours. Purge valve was part of a recall so didn’t cost me anything to get it replaced.

Truck was brought in for an oil change, tire rotation, and shake in front end/ steering wheel when brakes are applied. Tech could not duplicate my concern with the front brakes. There is a clear issue, not yet safety critical. A brake inspection was performed but the pad thicknesses were not recorded. Overall satisfied with my services. Need to have a more experienced tech perform the test drives. Not a service advisor or the oil change/ tire guys.

I feel that the wait time was a little long also I was charged $1.75 for a cleaning fee, for wiping residue off of my wiper blades or something similar. All in my oil change was approximately $137.00. I feel as though that was kind of expensive compared to some competitors. I am contemplating finding a less expensive but good service providing company for my next appointment. Some competitors even offer military/first responders discount for same service.

I had a 230 oil change appointment in which I arrived around 240. I waited in the waiting area until right at 430. I have never waited that long for a oil change in my life. I just felt like if there was a glitch in the system, someone should have came and relayed that to me. Instead I was just sitting waiting with no explanation of what was going on. I had to go seek someone to explain to me why it was taking so long. I just feel it was very unprofessional and poor customer service.

I really appreciated, that know one made me or my wife pressured to buy anything specific. John let us make the decision without any high-pressure sales tactics. Also, like that they actually listened to what we were looking for. The lady in the finance dept, did an excellent job in going over the different options with the warranty. First time I can actually say " I felt please with getting extended warranty, the difference was the finance person Lisa actually took some time to explain the different packages. She as well did not try to sell us something that would actually be useless down the road. I would highly recommend Jack Scmidt to anyone who out looking for new or used vehicle. The whole process was very relaxed and Iand my wife couldn't be happier with our purchase.

They were very efficient in getting my car in although the appt was at 7:30 and there were numerous cars at 7:20 waiting for them to open to begin service. The doors did not open until 7:30 and it took close to 1 1/2 hours for an oil change. I thought that was a little too long.

Everyone is friendly and offers exceptional customer service. It is wonderful to be greeted by name by so many of the staff. Jennifer was helpful in scheduling multiple appointments to have a broken window trim piece replaced on my 2022 Equinox. Unfortunately the problem was solved on the visit. The parts warehouse gets a a poor or one star rating due to not sending the correct parts for two different appointments. The dealership still offered a high level of service and helpfulness despite the upstream parts provider letting down the dealers.

Repair tech lower radiator hose unclamped lost 2 gallon of new anti freeze lost you replaced it NC. took care of problem luckily my son watches guages and shut of truck when temp reached 260 degrees which kept you from buying an engine. Jamison was great handling my complaint.
