Chevrolet Military Discount Program

If you are a member of the armed forces and in the market for a new Chevrolet vehicle, we'd like to demonstrate our gratitude for your sacrifice by helping you to take full advantage of Chevrolet Military discount program. It is accessible to all Active Duty members, Reservists, National Guard members, Veterans within one year of discharge date and Retirees of the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Coast Guard. This offer even extends to the spouses of qualifying members.

The process is simple. First, register on the Chevrolet Military Discount site using your military ID and credentials. It is recommend that veterans use the “Check Military Service Records” selection to generate the appropriate information. Once you have registered, you will receive an authorization code. Then, all you need to do is bring that code down to Jack Schmitt Chevrolet of O'Fallon, and you will receive your discount in full. It's as easy as that.

Lease Returns

Additionally, under the Service Members Civil Relief Act (SCRA) signed into law in 2003, military members who have recently signed a lease on a vehicle from Jack Schmitt Chevrolet of O'Fallon may terminate their lease without penalty if they are called into active duty for a duration of 180 days or more. This includes military members who are asked to make a permanent change of station. If duty calls you away from Scott Air Force Base, we will be sorry to see you go, but you won't get any hassle from us at Jack Schmitt Chevrolet of O'Fallon when you need to break your lease early. Just bring in or mail a written statement and a copy of your orders and return the vehicle within 15 days. Again, it's as easy as that.

Wreaths Across America

The Wreaths Across America organization places more than 700,000 wreaths at military cemeteries across the nation during the holiday season. Started in 1992, Wreaths Across America honors our fallen heroes through wreath-laying, remembrance, and education initiatives at local schools and churches. Chevrolet has donated fleets of vehicles to help with the delivery and transportation of wreaths, as well as involving Chevrolet dealership employees in the donation of wreaths every holiday season.

Hiring Our Heroes

Too often, our heroes return of from service only to struggle to find a civilian job in the States. GM is in partnership with Hiring Our Heroes, an initiative to assist military veterans find meaningful work and to help support military families. Through involvement at job fairs across the nation, Hiring Our Heroes has assisted in helping hundreds of thousands of military veterans and their spouses find employment. It also supports military veterans and their spouses with free online career resources.
